ERP interface

Use information from the ERP system for e-commerce and marketing

crossbase is an open system with a standard XML interface for importing data such as item numbers, texts and prices from upstream systems. The import of data into the database can be carried out fully automatically and time-controlled. The data can also be transferred from the PIM system to the ERP system.

Standard interface for ERP systems

crossbase has experience in connecting a variety of ERP systems such as SAP (more than half of crossbase customers use SAP), Axapta, Navision, proALPHA, Infor LN or abas. In addition, manual data imports in Excel format can also be carried out easily.

Automated import of item master data

The import of the item master data into the product database takes place either as a complete nocturnal import or demand-driven via a web service. XML is used as the exchange format. Excel files can also be imported for initial data migration or for product and price data from national companies.

Data preparation in XML and Excel format

Data can be maintained via the user interface or imported via the so-called standard import templates. There are over 30 templates, each with an XSD-defined template for XML or Excel (XLSX). In this way, the data to be imported can be prepared quickly and easily with Excel.

Bidirectional data exchange

In addition to importing ERP data, article-related data from the crossbase database can also be transferred back into the ERP system. These can be, for example, multilingual sales texts or basic data texts, which can then be used for quotations, order confirmations, invoices and delivery notes.

Information from the ERP System

Marketing requires up-to-date information from the ERP system for communication purposes. These include, for example, item numbers, item masters, basic texts, product hierarchies, catalog ranges and prices, as well as some technical product features and relationships such as spare parts and follow-up articles. The product status, which specifies whether an item is released for sale, is also often transferred.
