crossbase PIM solution now also in use at BAUER GmbH

The crossbase solution has become a comprehensive tool for us and has now become an integral part of our company.

Böblingen, 2019-07-15: BAUER GmbH develops, produces and sells forklift attachments, environmental protection equipment as well as recyclables and waste containers worldwide. The company decided to introduce a PIM solution in order to provide its trading partners with product data and special assortments quickly and reliably. The company has not regretted choosing crossbase: the crossbase solution has become a central tool in the company, whose mulitple possibilities are being used more and more.

Central functions of the solution

Excel export

Using the Excel export, catalog ranges and price lists for the online shops of our trading partners can be quickly made available. These can be flexibly designed by separate configurations for individual Excel files. For example, the output contains structure (product area, product group, product, item), attributes, texts, media elements (high resolution for print, low resolution for Web, with or without thumbnails), and relationships (has/is accessories/spare parts, number). In addition, you will receive an internal evaluation to complete missing information (e.g. GTIN/EAN).

Merge Excel export

Merge Excel export allows missing data to be added automatically using the item number or the attribute "EAN number". The system searches independently for the corresponding content and inserts it in the Excel file. Thus, existing but incomplete assortment lists can be provided with all relevant contents without great effort in order to subsequently transfer them to an online shop.

BMEcat

BMEcat provides data from different assortments for online shops of trade partners.

Printed publications

The 16-page dealer brochure "Storage of hazardous substances" was created with crossbase.print. Functionalities such as layout templates, free placement, table templates, book function, prices and type area control were used. If desired, different versions can be created based on a single source. In this case, a neutral version and a version with the Bauer logo were created. In the future, versions with dealer logos are conceivable. Further publications are in progress.

Multilingualism

The translation (EN/NL/FR) of all data is in progress in order to be able to provide multilingual derivations and country-specific assortments in the future.
