MHZ and crossbase

MHZ uses crossbase as a PIM, MAM and cross-media solution, especially for catalog production.

"What particularly impresses me is how well the solution was tailored to our needs. MHZ has a very complex product logic and very high demands on the constantly changing catalog layout. The workload has been significantly reduced; what used to take weeks can now be done in just a few days."

Based on the crossbase standard software, a PIM, MAM and cross-media solution tailored to the individual requirements was implemented for MHZ. The starting point is the data interface to the SAP system. In particular, the relationship logic for mapping the configurable materials is the linchpin for the subsequent catalog productions. The products are then enriched with features, product relationships, images, documents and texts and mapped in the various market- and media-specific product views. These include various price and technical catalogs.

The language-specific graphics are generated automatically using the Illustrator module. The frequently used texts in the graphics are maintained as text modules in the document module structure. The matrix tables for the configurable materials are mapped with prices for width, height and material.

The API server is also used to populate the download area on the website and the MHZ.planner with current product data and media files.
