Based on the crossbase standard software, an individual MAM solution was implemented for A.S. Création with the option of expanding it to include a complete PIM solution. Over 60,000 articles are continuously imported from the ERP system to the PIM via the XML interface and mapped in a product and marketing structure.


The integrated image database is used to organize the entire image workflow in order to convert, categorize and structure images, videos and documents. Keywords and other metadata can be assigned. Product-specific images are assigned directly to the articles. For layout designers, the high-resolution image data is made available in the Apple environment so that it can be easily inserted into InDesign.


The image data is used in various online media and sales channels at home and abroad via the API server. The API server offers a JSON/REST interface to provide image information or to stream the image data. The API server is also used to synchronize the PIM data with the ERP system.
