Online Catalog

The Fully Integrated Catalog as a Dynamic Product Finder with Store Functions

The module for integrating online catalogs (optionally with dynamic product finder and store functions) is based on the CMS platform from crossbase. This means that adaptations to templates or style sheets can be made independently. All data for the online media is prepared media-specifically and up-to-date from the crossbase database - fully automatically for all countries and languages.

Advantages of the online catalog

  • Central data from PIM/MAM

  • Responsive, modern layout

  • Fast product search with filters

  • Comprehensive product information & downloads

  • Watch lists and PDF export for inquiries

Function Overview

Functionality

The user interface and functionality of the online catalog can be customized with the integrated CMS from crossbase. All data for the online catalog is retrieved from the PIM and MAM. They are prepared in a visually appealing way on the basis of dynamic templates - fully automatically for all countries and languages.

Authorizations

In addition to the product display, the online catalog can also be expanded to include a user-specific article and price display. Access is via a login. The product information can also be made available to specific target groups via authorizations.

Provision of the data

In addition to use in crossbase CMS, the data can also be provided for other CMS, portals and store systems - the API server with REST services is used for this purpose.

Product search, selection and watch lists

The online catalog has several search functions. In addition to the full-text search with auto-complete, navigation is available via a tree or tile structure. There is also a dynamic search filter to limit the search results in the form of a faceted search.

Up to ten articles can be selected for direct comparison. The data sheet engine enables the dynamic generation of a PDF file via a short URL with article number. Articles can be collected in a watch list. A request for quotation can easily be started for the items on the watch list.
