Holger Geck (Head of Marketing, Product Management, and Communications): We need flawless processes; we need a lot of automation and partial automation, and that’s what got us started in the world of PIM. The PIM implementation is a major project - especially when you’re replacing an existing PIM. I was very surprised that both the implementation timeline and the price quoted at the beginning and at the end actually matched. We finished very quickly - even ahead of schedule - and stayed 100% within budget. That wasn’t necessarily the norm for me back then.
crossbase is clearly our central system for products. We first create new items in the PIM, then transfer them via an interface to the ERP system, where the necessary data for the supply chain is added. Everything related to data is fed from crossbase.
We operate in a price-sensitive market, which means we need processes that function flawlessly. We can only meet today’s stringent requirements - such as product compliance - in a cost-effective manner with a high-performance PIM. And we’re succeeding in doing so - which is why crossbase ensures the future of our company.
We really appreciate that we have the right partner in crossbase because we have the right people there as our contacts. Our company values are characterized above all by down-to-earthness, reliability, and foresight. This is something we also see very strongly in the crossbase team and in crossbase’s leadership. It also aligns perfectly with our brand promise: “Made to last.”
Yes, I would definitely recommend crossbase. I’ve actually done so on a few occasions in the past, because we have a reliable partner here, a reliable product - a good product at competitive prices.
