Recurring continuous texts and text modules can be used multiple times and therefore only need to be created and translated once. This ensures a uniform language, avoids duplication of work and leads to a considerable reduction in translation costs. The texts to be translated can be restricted to publications or output media. The translation requirements are determined precisely before export. Only texts without translations and texts marked for resubmission are exported. All language and country-specific texts and media files can be versioned. The translation requirements are determined using a proven workflow based on the text status. With crossbase, country-specific languages with minor deviations from the main language can be managed easily and efficiently. It is not necessary to keep all language-country variants, but only the specific deviations. With this concept, up to 98% of such translations can be avoided.

TMS (Translation Memory System) and machine translation aids can be connected via standard interfaces. Translation jobs are exported in XML/XLIFF or Excel format. The translation can therefore be carried out in systems such as across, RWS Trados or directly in Excel. In the case of print publications, the corresponding PDF documents can also be exported and linked as a visual translation aid. By connecting services such as DeepL or Google Translate, which use artificial intelligence for translation, texts can be quickly and easily pre-translated and then conveniently edited using the web client.
