Successful eCatalog Conference 2019 in St. Wendel

Böblingen, 02-01-2019: Under the motto "Marketing meets Engineering", the partners crossbase mediasolution, ergosign, KiM and Plan Software organized the 11th international marketing conference eCatalog in St. Wendel.

From 03-20 to 03-21-2019 interested parties had the opportunity to exchange information at presentations, discussions, showcases, workshops and at the trade exhibition. With over 100 visitors, the event was a complete success.

The focus of the event from crossbase's point of view was the topic PIM/MAM solution as database for configurator, 3D visualization, CAD/BIM, e-commerce and print. Sabrina Haas of the long-time crossbase customer CREATON, reported in her lecture on the "Diary of a digital journey to Serviceland". Sabrina Haas was responsible for the PIM implementation and showed in a very appealing way the benefits of the PIM internally and for the customers: From the automation of the catalog to the media library, website and myCREATON to the craftsman app.

crossbase presented the following innovations in the trade exhibition and seminars:

  • Partnership: The newly developed REST service architecture for data exchange with partner applications for configuration and visualization of product solutions.
  • PIM: The newly developed Data Quality Management, which is integrated into the dashboard of the crossbase web interface and linked to a maintenance wizard.
  • MAM: The automatic recognition of people in photos.
  • Online catalog: The adjustable facet search with search filters and high performance index for item search.
  • Data provision API server: The newly developed Typo3 connector for data exchange for the website.
  • Print: Production of technical documentation on the basis of frozen versions.
